Dogtective is developed by a small independent team. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data (if any) we collect, how it's used, and your rights as a user.

Data We Collect

Dogtective is designed to be played without requiring an account or collecting personal information. Specifically:

• No account required. You can play the full game without signing in or providing any personal details.
• Game progress. Your save data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. We do not have access to your save data.
• No analytics or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or tracking technologies.
• No advertising. Dogtective does not display third-party ads.

iCloud & Local Storage

Game progress may be saved using Apple's SwiftData and iCloud frameworks. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not store, transmit, or access your save data on our own servers.

Device Permissions

Dogtective may request the following permissions:

• Haptic feedback. Used for in-game feedback. Can be toggled off in the pause menu.
• Audio. Used for music and sound effects. No microphone access is requested.

Children's Privacy

Dogtective is designed to be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or any other users.
